GIANFRANCO TOMASSETTI
fine art for the few.
Gianfranco Tomassetti is a Miami-born visual artist whose work explores memory, identity, faith, and the movement of life. Working in black and white, he creates cinematic, emotionally charged images that bring personal stories into focus through light, shadow, and carefully chosen symbols.
Tomassetti’s practice is rooted in the belief that a portrait can hold more than a likeness. Each piece is shaped by the people, relationships, and memories behind it—turning lived experience into a lasting work of art. His minimalist compositions leave room for mystery, inviting viewers to find their own meaning in the details.
Through his art, Tomassetti seeks to preserve what matters: the moments, bonds, and stories that make a life unmistakably its own.

ICONS
Icons is the most important body of work I’ve created to date. My intentional shift from making portraits to building a legacy with this series represents my commitment to honoring the people who shaped culture while defining my own voice as an artist, with each portrait crafted to capture more than a face: it captures impact, symbolism, and timeless presence.
When a collector reserves an Icon, they also earn the opportunity to embed their own favorite moments and memories into the piece; making it personal, permanent, and truly one-of-one. I will never draw that person again, which means what’s captured in the artwork becomes final; engrained forever as both a tribute to the Icon, and a legacy artifact for the collector.
Welcome to Icons.
